Stay Safe @ Florian Weitzer Hotels & Restaurants

Our COVID-19
measures

Dear guests,

we would like to inform you about the measures we have taken, taking into account the legal requirements to contain the COVID-19 pandemic:

THROUGH THE PANDEMIC TOGETHER

Corona measures for our restaurants

  • In closed public rooms FFP2 masks are required which can be taken off while seated.
  • The legal closing time is until further notice at 10 p.m..
  • Since 8th November 2021 the 2G-rule applies in Austria: For a visit a vaccination certificate* or a confirmation of a COVID-19 illness is required.
  • Children up to the age of 12 are exempt from the G-proof requirement and therefore do not have to present a test result.
  • The following applies to children and young people between 13 and 15 years of age (school age): The ninja pass is equivalent to the 2-G certificate. After completing the ninth year of school, young people must also have a 2-G certificate in order to be allowed to enter 2-G settings.
  • The recording of contact data is taken very seriously. All guests are requested to register using the QR code or the provided contact form.
  • We do not offer bar service at the counter.
  • All public areas are equipped with disinfectants and are cleaned regularly.
  • All employees have received intensive training on important hygiene measures and on contact with guests in light of the current situation.
  • Surfaces and handles (door handles, lift buttons, etc.) in all public spaces are disinfected frequently.
  • Wherever possible, doors remain open to reduce contact.
* Only with a completed series of vaccinations is a corona vaccination received in Austria valid as proof within the meaning of the 2-G rule. If two partial vaccinations are required (BioNTech / Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca), the vaccination certificate is valid from the 2nd vaccination date, at Janssen / Johnson & Johnson the vaccination certificate is valid from the 22nd day after the vaccination date. For those who have recovered with a partial vaccination, the vaccination certificate is valid from the vaccination date.
The vaccination certificate is valid for 9 months.
Proof of vaccination certificate, vaccination card or digital green passport.

  • In closed public rooms FFP2 masks are required which can be taken off while seated.

Corona measures for all employees of the Florian Weitzer Hotels & Restaurants

  • All employees who enter the hotel have their temperature taken.
  • All employees are tested for the coronavirus regularly.
  • Antigen tests

We continue to monitor the development of the situation closely.

For the  5 step plan, instead of the incidence value, the utilization of the intensive care unit (ICU occupancy) is used as a benchmark for tightening or relaxing:

Level 1: If 200 intensive care beds are used, the following measures apply:

  • Antigen tests are only valid for 24 hours after the test has been taken.
  • An FFP2 mask is mandatory at places of daily use (grocery retailers including sales outlets of food producers as well as petrol stations with affiliated sales outlets for groceries, pharmacies, banks, post offices, public transport).
  • The 3-G rule applies to gatherings of 25 or more people.
  • Strengthening the control of the measures in force.

Level 2: After exceeding 300 occupied intensive care beds, the following measures come into effect after 7 days:

  • In night-time catering (e.g. discos, clubs, après-ski bars and dance halls), and at gatherings with more than 500 participants: indoors with not exclusively assigned and marked seats (e.g. wedding, birthday or Christmas parties), only those who have been vaccinated have more vaccinations and people who have recovered (2-G rule).
  • For staff in 2-G settings, the following applies: Employees who have neither been vaccinated nor recovered must show a current, negative PCR test result and also wear an FFP2 mask when they come into direct contact with the customer.
  • Antigen tests with self-acceptance („living room tests“), point of sale tests as well as antibody tests are no longer permitted as evidence within the meaning of the 3-G rule.

Level 3: After 400 occupied intensive care beds have been exceeded, the following measures take effect immediately:

  • There is an expansion of the access restrictions. Wherever the 3-G rule currently applies, in future only vaccinated and / or recovered persons or persons who can show a negative PCR test will have access.

Level 4: After 500 occupied intensive care beds have been exceeded, the following measures take effect immediately:

  • Wherever the 2.5G rule applied, the 2G rule then applies (restaurants, leisure facilities, sports facilities, culture, body-hugging service providers, events from 25 people, etc.).
  • Exception: The 2.5 G rule applies at the workplace.
  • No restrictions for vaccinated or recovered people.

Level 5: After 600 occupied intensive care beds have been exceeded, the following measures take effect immediately:

  • From this point in time, exit restrictions apply to unvaccinated people, i.e. leaving their own private living area will only be allowed on the basis of a few exceptional reasons such as work, daily needs, close caregivers, etc.
  • Vaccinated and recovered persons remain unaffected by this level.

A summary of all preventions per hotel can be checked here (please click on the chosen hotel). We will, of course, inform you in the event that additional measures are required. All information is provided without guarantee and claims to be complete. You can find the detailed information here
